Disability Mainstream Training

We are proud to have worked with Malawi Scotland Partnership (MaSP) and MACOHA to have delivered disability mainstream training to organisations working across development sectors in Malawi, advising them as to how they could be more inclusive. The training produced some really good changes in the way organisations ran their programs and resulted in multiple positive impacts.

To further increase the impact of our Disability Mainstream training, The Global Concerns Trust has further collaborated with MACOHA and other disability experts to produce a free online training course.

Equitable access to services for everyone, including people with disabilities, is essential to ensure the rights of all Malawians. Public and private sector organisations are working towards mainstreaming dis­ability within their organisations and projects.

This practical guide is intended as an introduction to help all Malawians understand the basic issues around disability, mainstreaming and the need to work to take steps towards being more inclusive across all sectors
